Up for your consideration are two vintage Wine Restaurant Pitchers From Botin Restaurant in Madrid, Spain - Cuchilleros These pieces of pottery were made in Spain and come from "Puente del Arzobispo," one of the most important pottery producing centers in Spain. They are hand painted with green, gold and white coloring, These look great in kitchens, family rooms and bathrooms! They compliment windowsills, tables and desks! Their artsy looks adds a colorful and quaint look to wherever they are displayed! Enjoy them! Front Reads: RESTAURANT ANTIGUA CASA SNO DE BOTIN1725CUCHILLEROS - 17MADRID Bottom Reads:SANTAFE PUENTE FR~O BISPO Measurements:7 3/4" Tall4" Wide History: The Botín restaurant is located just off Madrid's Plaza Mayor in Calle Cuchilleros, which means knife makers street. Botín is written of in Hemingway's 'The Sun Also Rises' and it was one of his favorite restaurants, hence its popularity amongst tourists. The Guinness Book of records lists it as the oldest restaurant in the world (1725, the building dates from 1590) and it is said that the painter Goya actually worked as a dishwasher there.

This pretty Longaberger Majolica Garden Vitamin / Pill Case is brand new in the package, and comes from a smoke free home. The case measures 3 1/2" long x 2 3/4" wide x 1 1/4" high, & has a zipper for easy opening & secure closure. There is a window pocket inside that contains a card for contact information, and a removable plastic box with 8 divisions with initials of the days of the week. A Longaberger logo is on the front. For example, a fleabite is a very small flaw in which a very small nick in the glaze or pottery or a raised bubble is present. Peppering is glaze that appears to contain specks of black paint. A chigger bite is a small missing piece of glaze, but the pottery underneath is untouched. Crazing appears as a spider web within the glaze.
